time zone

hari ni kita belajar Geografi lah..
rasanya semua orang familiar dengan time zone kan?
kalau tak, marilah kita sama-sama refresh balik pengetahuan kita, ok?

"A time zone is a region on Earth, more or less bounded by lines of longitude, that has a uniform, legally mandated standard time, usually referred to as the local time."

secara ringkasnya, setiap kawasan kat atas muka bumi ni, ada waktu yang berbeza sebab kawasan ni berada di longitud yang berlainan..
jadi matahari pun sampai kat kawasan tu lain-lain masa la..

malaysia takde pun???

cuba fikir, kalau semua tempat guna masa yang sama tapi siang, malam, petang, pagi semua berbeza, tak ke pelik?
katakanlah US pukul 8 am, Malaysia pun 8 am tapi hakikatnya malam di Malaysia dan pagi di US..
jadi soalan tipikal akan bunyi macam ni,
        "matahari kat tempat kau dah naik takat mana?" 
                                  instead of
         "sekarang kat tempat kau pukul berapa?"
faham tak?
jadi masa berbeza mengikut matahari tu sendiri adalah logik, walaupun menyusahkan otak kecik aku untuk tolak tambah darab bahagi untuk tahu masa kat negara lain.. haih~

korang tahu tak yang ni adalah satu bukti kekuasaan Allah..

• kejadian siang dan malam 
• waktu solat berbeza dari satu tempat ke satu tempat
• laungan azan tak berhenti di seluruh dunia
• jet lag???

time zone adalah bukti kekuasaan Allah dalam bentuk numerical..
dan sebab tu jugaklah kita ada 24 jam ikut jam ciptaan manusia..

daylight saving time..

aku tanya pakcik wikipedia, dan ini jawapannya:

Daylight saving time (DST)—also summer time in British English and European official terminology (see Terminology)—is the practice of temporarily advancing clocks during the summertime so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn.

complicated kan?
at least for us who not used to it and perhaps never used to it because most countries around the equator do not observe daylight saving time, since the seasonal difference in sunlight is minimal.
tengok lah macam manusia come out with different things just to explain a simple thing as TIME..

setiap kali nak tegur orang kat ym or skype for a short chat or just girls talk, i have to think about the differences in time zone..
mana lah tahu orang tu dah nak masuk tido ataupun nak pergi sekolah/kerja..
maka kena buat simple calculation first..

kadang-kadang rasa macam ........................(isikan tempat kosong) bila terpaksa tunggu masa yang orang tu free walaupun mata sendiri macam dah tersangkut batu bata dah..
but then, to think about it, it shows how much you want/care about the other person on this planet..
kena sabar, kalau tak akan end-up in disappointment..

distance makes heart grows fonder..
familiar with this words?
yes indeed if you try you best to overcome the distance..
but if you just ignore it by saying he/she is just too far away and you don't want to disturb he/she, you'll end up losing that person..

Let someone realize your importance, try to stay away so that they miss you..
But don't stay away for such a time that they learn to live without you..!!

try your best to keep things that you love..
never ever leave them or let them go..
only and unless you are sure that it is for better..
it is always hurtful when you don't even try and then you lose it..

people ask me why it's so hard to trust people,

yes, we are..
but how long is it when we said forever?
can you predict? can you have it?

time might be only a minor problem in a relationship...
be it friendship, love-ship or whatever ship that you're on now, it need you to do your best to keep it sailing..
to have it as 'sampan buruk' or a high-class cruise, the choice is yours..
there are a lots other problems and obstacles that might come in your way..
jangan tunggu sampai jadi macam kapal Titanic baru nak buat sesuatu..
it is when you know it is the end..
and what left is only the bitter sweet memories..

we might end up in different 'zone' although we are living on the same place..
cakap pun frekuensi tak sama..
tapi boleh cakap segala macam cerita dengan orang yang beribu batu jauhnya..

He makes the time difference-time zone..
But He also the one who brings our hearts together..
amazing right?
