anak perantau vs cuti raya

just have conversation with my mom before my credits run out..
yes, on the phone..

can't really say what was the conversation all about because we talked about random stuffs..
dissection, Mukah, air asia flight ticket, facebook, new landscape at my house plus a bit renovation..
not to mention, biji gajus.. hahaha~

dila: my friends ada join that program that Anis mention..

mom: maybe that's the one that Anis said send her regards to you..

dila: oh, maybe sebab dia selalu je melepak kat kolej..

       Alan pun join jugak..

mom: Alan cuti ke? 

dila: ha'a..UIA tengah cuti semester rasanya.. that's why la bila cakap balik Malaysia around August tapi tak sempat raya, dia cakap takleh jumpa sebab dia balik time raya..

mom: diaorang ade cuti raya ke?

dila: ish, mak ni..dia kan kat Malaysia, mestilah cuti raya..  mentang-mentanglah anak dah tak balik raya, ingat semua orang yang masuk universiti tak balik raya ke..

mom: *laughing*

dila: naper gelak? *sambil tersengih*

mom: yelah, anak dah tak balik raya.. ko ni ade-ade je~  so,dah tahu bila cuti?

dila: tak tahu lagi, jadual exam pun takde lagi..

mom: oh...

this makes me realise how my mom have adapted to the fact her daughter won't be available for hari raya..
both Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha..
i'm sorry mom..though i really want to but i can't..
this's the fact that all oversea's students should have in mind..(india pun oversea jugak,k!)
yang kat malaysia, baliklah jumpa yang tersayang, keluarga dan sahabat handai..
when the time has come, you couldn't ask it to rewind for you just because you haven't spend your time with love ones..

1. bila boleh balik malaysia untuk raya eh? i mean before balik malaysia for good..
2. nak makan makanan raya boleh? lemang, ketupat, rendang, kuah kacang...bla..bla...bla...
3. why we always wonder about the road NOT taken instead of stay focus on what's coming ahead?
